I don’t know exactly what I want to do for a living but I do know it should be in the computer field because its what i’m good at and I enjoy it. So would computer science be the best field for me to do almost anything in the computer field and make around 60k in? If someone with a major in computer science could tell me about the different jobs that is available to them that would be cool.

i hear that if you try to get a 4 year degree in computer science, half the things you learn in year 1 will be out of date by year 3.
I wouldn’t pay much attention to the answer #1, I mean, I’m sure there is a modicum of truth to his statement, nonetheless, if you go online you can see how much the average person with a computer science degree earns and what jobs they tend to obtain.
The degree must count for something or those jobs wouldn’t be going to the people with it.
I’d recommend majoring in computer engineering instead. You can do it all with a computer engineering degree.
