Computer science is a demanding field. You might be lucky because if you have enough experience, it might make up for a higher degree. But if you think of it from the employer's perspective, a person with 4 years (Bachelor's degree) will have and advantge over 2 years (AA). The more education you get, the better your chances.

An associate degree is definitely better than nothing. When competing against people in the job market, someone with a bachelors degree will have a little bit of an advantage. They usually make a little more also but you can make decent money with an associate degree.

No. An associates degree is about as equivalent to a high school diploma. You should go on to a Bachelors degree when you finish your A.A. I received my A.A. in psychology last year and currently completing my Bachelors. I'm almost finished with my Bachelors because I have previous college credits towards my degree. I would also suggest you get as much experience in your field as possible as well as certification.

Yes, but I would also consider how you are structuring your volunteer and work experience. they all need to tie into your major. Don't go broad with this, find your specialty and go deep. Job shadowing, internships and competitions in your field mean a lot.

Best of Luck!
Jana

Possible. In fact, very.

How are you doing on these classes though? Very high GPA is required...

For SAT, ACT, and AP Qs, use my message board.
