Ok so Im really interested in computer programming and software and I want to go to College and then eventually I will upgrade my diploma into a degree at university. I want to know what the difference between software engineering and Computer Science is. Is software Engineering programming? and much more then that? What is Computer Science? Please give me a in depth definition and if I get a job as a software engineer what kinds of tasks will I be doing? Will I be programming and developing software? Because thats what I want to do. If I go get a diploma in software engineering will I be able to upgrade it to a Bachelors in Comp Sci? So yes, software engineers are computer programmers. They all write code.
It varies from college to college. Generally, Computer Science is a more rounded version, with hardware and all that good stuff.
