I don’t like programming, but I think that I could finish the degree if I wanted to. I am working a part-time IT Helpdesk job right now, and I like it a lot. If i want a job that is not programming, would a COSC degree look better than and IT degree to an emplyer?

Yes. Being able to program makes you much more valuable than somebody who can only use other peoples in my opinion.

IT is the future I would
Better to switch now than after 10 years in a career that you don’t like. Even if it sets you back a little, and you graduate late.
An employer would rather have a skilled & happy IT degree than a discontented programmer. If you like what you do, you’ll be better at it. With the IT degree you can still progress beyond help desk work and still interact with people. A viable career choice IMO.
