I have to take bridge courses, because I’m coming form a totally different background. So far reviews all all the city colleges have mediocre and mixed reviews. And I have not taken the GRE, so at this time I cannot apply to schools such as Columbia and NYU.
So are there any suggestions or experiences to share about C.S. programs (preferably grad programs) for schools like NYC Polytech, Fordham and any of the CUNY colleges?

I personally think it does not really matter where you go for a technical subject like Computer Science.
If I were you, I would settle for the lowest-cost college so you will not have to worry about student loans later on. The money you saved from tuition would have been better spent on your investments or startups.
You should check out CUNY City College and CUNY Queens College. They offer solid CS programs at a very affordable price. I think Queens is more suitable for your case since it does not require a bachelors in CS but City might require one.
If you live in NY, CUNY is a very good deal. In fact, the most recent USNEWS ranking placed the CS program at CUNY one slot higher than the one at Polytechnic University.
