Don’t think you should tell them the truth? If you are going to Imperial College don’t you think you should be able to answer this question? If you really don’t know the answer to the question perhaps you should think how you would answer the question if they were asking you about another field and think about switching to that field. Even if someone gives you an answer you don’t think the interviewers are going to probe a little deeper to find out if you really have a passion for Comp Sci.
