which is easier to study ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR or CISCO NETWORK?

I want to get into the IT field i work for the local government and theres opportunity to move up in the company in IT department. There requirements for DBA and Information Tech is 60 college credits only 15 in computers science starting salary for IT 49,000 for DBA 64,000. Which is easier to study.

    cisco is a pain in the ass, you’d probably find oracle easier.

    Cisco make so much money running expensive courses to learn how to use it. I had to do some simple QoS in cisco as part of my Masters without any training in it, in a group project, its not fun and really temperamental.
