    Should be fine; apply.

The worst that can happen is they say no.

Very iffy. I would say you need at least a 3.5, so you are right on the border line. It can’t hurt to apply though, so good luck!

Just apply. If your application is denied, complete another year at your CC and then apply again. That’s the worst that could happen. Risk it. Good Luck!

yes, you should be fine. however i would seriously recommend completing the mntc (mn transfer curriculum) at a community college. the cost of a fall and spring semester at community college combined is about equal to the cost of one semester at the u of m. i would also look at this site: https://mn.transfer.org/cas/ to make sure all your classes listed will transfer into the u of m. the reading skills class sounds sketchy. i took a similar class and it didn’t count for anything really. i would really check that site cause if one doesn’t transfer then you’re short your 26 credits to be considered a transfer student. if you decide to stay at community college, i would look into classes that will count as a general ed class (falls within the mntc) and will also count towards your major (if you’ve decided on that yet). also, if you stay at community college, the general ed classes are easier and you get more attention because of the smaller class sizes, you won’t feel like a number at community college (some of the gen ed classes at the u of m have over 100 students in them). i would also recommend getting involved just a bit at community college if you stay; get into things that will look good on your u of m application. for instance, you could get into phi theta kappa (honor society) if you improve your gpa just a tiny bit.

good luck with whatever you decide to do

It seems unlikely if you didn’t take the ACT or SAT, and if you weren’t eligible after high school. It also seems rather late to apply for this year, so the first chance you would probably get would be for next Spring, and by then you would really be better off waiting until Fall 2010. Sorry, but given the current state of the economy, there are more and more students going to public universities and community colleges wanting to transfer, and it is becoming tougher to do so.

HAHAHA YOU GOT A B IN FAMILY COMMUNICATION? MINNESOTA IS ESPECIALLY PROUD OF THEIR FAMILY COMMUNICATION PROGRAM. THEY WILL UNDOUBTEDLY DENY YOUR ADMISSION SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THIS B.

Just apply. What’s the worst that could happen?

THERE’S ALWAYS A CHANCE! Education is important so don’t haste to apply to a great college just because you think you don’t have a chance.

I would apply to more colleges if i were you too just in case you don’t get into your first choice.
